What we offer

couple-talking

Age Concern Crediton provides opportunities to support people of 50yrs+, together with their carers and families, in order that they can maintain as independent and full a life as possible. We work to relieve loneliness and isolation in a friendly, pleasant, and safe environment at our community club.

Opportunities are currently available every weekday Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10am to 2.30pm.

The day consists of transport to and from our centre, a freshly prepared two course lunch, and regular outings & activities (e.g. guest speakers, arts, crafts, quizzes and games). All for a modest fee.

Getting out and spending time with others

We work hard with and for older people throughout the town and surrounding villages. We aim to promote positive attitudes to ageing and to encourage older people to live their lives with dignity and independence in their own home for as long as they so wish.

Services are provided as a response to the needs of older people. These are constantly reviewed and monitored aiming always to ensure an appropriate service.
